Central America Guatamala VIDEO:
We first headed out to Antigua, Guatmala. Our 1st step was to learn Spanish, and so we went for one week to a Spanish School. While we were there, we were able to go to the local park and minister to the locals, and to the tourists. We also got to see the YWAM Cafe there also. It gave us an idea of what to do in El Salvador, because our initial plan was to build a Cafe there.
El Salvador The Rock Cafe After our trip to Antigua, we took a bus to El Salvador. We arrived and were picked up by fellow YWAMers. It took us about a month to get things started with our new Cafe, which is called "The Rock" Cafe. VIDEO:
English Class While we were there we also got to be a part of the English Class that the base was having for their outreach. They specifically had them with the prostitutes and transvesdites. That to was great. The base also went out once a week giving coffee and ministering to the prositutes and transvesdites that didn't come to the English class.
Universidad de El Salvador We were also given an opportunity to share at the University of El Salvador! They have English classes that we were able to go to, because we were "Americanos" they were excited to have us. That alone gave us a chance to minister. I had an awesome group. After our 1st meeting, we met even more, but out of class. It was cool to see God at work in them, and the last time we met was heartbreaking for me. I do miss them now, and pray that the Lord will continue to give them revelation of Him.

Overall: This was my 1st out of the country Outreach(besides Mexico). I did this outreach with my DTS team, with whom I was blessed to be with. In the end it was great and during debriefing we really got to see what God has done in our lives, and in the lives of those who we were in contact with. Some of us will be heading back down to El Salvador, for more outreach and shows with our band here, the Alive Wire.
