Lindale & Tyler Area

 

There are over 300 churches in this area, there are numerous well-known Ministries, and there are hundreds of Youth that have not been reached.

 

When I first came to Texas, I went to the all famous "Rockwells" Cafe.  I noticed that there were Youth outside on the curbs, and so I went out there to see what they were up to. "Theres nothing to do here," says a girl about 14yrs of age,  "Sometimes we just go walk around Wal-Mart all night."

 

With all these ministries and churches, I thought to myself, "Why aren't there any Youth Centers?  Or Outreaches?"

 

Then is when I realized, that God may have me here for a reason, or should I say, still has me here.

I have now connected with many ministries here in Tyler/Lindale Area.  Our group here at YWAM Woodcrest has been involved with Youth Rally's and Local Outreach by Concerts.  We are now again connecting once again after a time of international outreaches.

 

We are planning on continuing to pursue a Youth Center with the help of local churches.  We are also pursuing what we call "Overtime" as an outreach tool after football games.  WIth Overtime we will offer workshops, music, and one on one evangelizing.  The goal is to bring youth together and being able to plug them into a bible based church.

 

 

I would like your involvement as well, to pray that the Lord would give us favor with the Local Churches and their Pastors, and also a place where we can together, get a Youth Center for these kids.  Blessings!
